Dental Services

Behavioral Health Services

Behavioral health is an essential part of overall wellness and services are provided at KHC’s Hau`ula, Kahuku, and Red Raider Health Center facilities. Services include Psychiatry, psychotherapy and counseling, marriage & family therapy, anger management, substance abuse, tobacco treatment services, and other addictions. Pharmacy Services

The pharmacy department, located at our Kahuku facility, provides complete pharmaceutical and prescription services to anyone in need of them. Additional services at our pharmacy include health education, medication management, sliding discount, limited medication delivery, and more. The Ho`opi`i Ola Pono Program (“striving to change, living well”)

Ko`olauloa Health Center’s Ho`opi`i program provides a variety of services designed to help our patients’ overall health and wellness goals:

  • Tobacco Cessation: Services are provided by Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists who work individually or in groups to support those trying to stop tobacco or vaping use. Free counseling, support and quit tools (such as nicotine gum, patches, prescribed medications, and more) are available
  • Diabetes Prevention Program: Lifestyle & Wellness Coaches provide group and individual support services for those who have been told by their primary care provider that they are pre-diabetic or at risk for Type 2 diabetes. The program uses a curriculum developed by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and includes fun learning experiences and activities. The program includes free classes and home support tools
  • Care Coordination: Care coordination services are available to all patients at Ko`olauloa Health Center but we have found those with chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, find this service particularly helpful. Care coordination assists patients in the coordination of services to specialty care or ancillary services to minimize gaps
  • Outreach & Eligibility: utreach & Eligibility services provides direct assistance with applying for health insurance, financial assistance, the food stamp program, and health insurance coverage through Services are available at our Hau`ula and Kahuku locations and our team can also be found at local events, fairs, and partnering with other area agencies

Community Health Screening

Eligibility Coordinators Collaborate with community organizations to provide education to the community by doing Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar screening and information and education about different disease that our community faces in their families i.e. Diabetes, Asthma, and high Blood Pressure. The Eligibility Coordinators also provides screening and First Aid to the Once a month Church in Haleiwa on the 4th Sunday of each month.
