Support a Campaign
Whether you’re inspired to give $5 or $100, no donation is too small to make a difference. All of us at Ko’olauloa Health Center value and appreciate every gift from our community.
Let’s Grow Farms Hawaii
Let’s Grow Farms is on a mission to help farmers and home gardeners grow more food through education, equipment sharing, a shared volunteer base, and help with getting products to market.
We offer home-delivery and several pick-up locations on Oahu for our weekly farm fresh produce bag subscription. Harvests are sourced from our farms and our state-wide hui of sustainable, healthy practice family farms.
COVID-19 Vaccinations
Everyone age 5 and older is eligible for free COVID-19 vaccination regardless of health insurance status. First and second doses should be prioritized over any booster doses.
All Hawai‘i residents 18 and older should receive a booster dose if it has been at least two months since their initial Johnson & Johnson vaccine, or five months after completing their initial Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech series. Contact our friendly staff to make your appointment.
1st Year 1st Tooth
The sooner children begin getting regular dental checkups, the healthier their mouths will stay throughout their lives. Early checkups help prevent cavities and tooth decay, which can lead to pain, trouble concentrating and other medical issues. Youngsters with healthy teeth chew food easily, learn to speak clearly and smile with confidence.
The American Dental Association says that every child should visit a dentist by age 1 – or as soon as the first tooth appears. This “well baby visit” teaches parents and caregivers how to care for their children’s teeth and help them remain cavity-free.
Nutrition Therapy
Every person has a unique physiological make-up as well as nutritional requirements. Nutritional therapy uses nutrient intake and lifestyle changes to prevent and treat diseases like diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, depression, and obesity. This treatment method can come in the form of IV therapy, medical food, and oral supplements.
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy aims to address symptoms and various conditions by examining and changing lifestyle factors and dietary habits.
