KHC is proud to announce that we will be a part of Aloha Care's upcoming "Farm Fresh Friday" event. Farm Fresh Friday is an outreach program focused on providing free bags of fresh, locally grown produce to those in need.

Date: St. Roch Kahuku Church, 56-350 Kamemeha Hwy., Kahuku

Food distribution of fresh fruits & vegetables while supplies last. Vision testing, SNAP, MedQuest & health tracking will also be available at this event!

Farm Fresh Friday is a community initiative by Aloha Care that promotes healthy eating and food security by distributing fresh, local produce. 

Purpose:

Increase access to fresh produce: The program's goal is to make healthy, locally grown food accessible, especially in underserved communities.

Support local farmers and businesses: By sourcing produce locally, the initiative strengthens Hawaiʻi's food systems.

Promote health and well-being: Fresh produce can encourage healthy eating and may reduce diet-related diseases.
