Halloween is just around the corner so here are a few common sense Halloween tips from our Dental Department:
1. Don’t go batty for the candy! Of course, as your Ko’olauloa area dentists, we would prefer you not have so many sugary sweets. The key is moderation.
2. When in doubt throw it out! Make sure your keiki understands that no one eats any candy at all until back home. There it is best to empty your trick-or-treat bag on a table and overlook each piece. Anything that is open, damaged, or just odd looking should be thrown out.
